To the best Dad, Grandad and Great-grandad ever - he was always there for us with his unconditional love, support and generosity and we’ll miss him enormously. He taught us our love of geography and travel (not least our knowledge of capital cities through countless in-car quizzes), shared his immense gardening knowledge, helped with many DIY projects and was by our sides through thick and thin. Seeing him battle with the onset of vascular dementia over the past three years has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done and this is why we decided to ask for donations in lieu of flowers, in his name, to a charity carrying out valuable research in this area. Rest in peace now, Dad - you’ve left a huge hole in our lives but you’ll always live in in our memories xx

Grandad will always be at the center of our family and his death doesn’t change that. He was the most thoughtful and generous family man (or “ELF”, for ever loving father, as he liked to sign off emails to us), consistently prioritizing the happiness of all of us over anything else. I will cherish our memories together, from countless hours learning to fish with him (a lot of SPAM was consumed) to family get togethers where you’d see the grin on his face as his family chatted happily around him. Not only was he there for us emotionally but also financially, ensuring we all had what we needed through his intelligence & energy for managing investments. It’s testament to him that he kept growing his share portfolio until his late 80s! I love you, Grandad! Now go enjoy being with Nanny wherever that may be <3
